I recently did a digital painting of Elvis Presley. I wanted to capture his charm and unforgettable smile. Ok, I know that sounds a bit crazy and I don’t have a thing for the guy – but from an artistic point of view, the man has a lot of character, and trying to capture this in a digital painting – would be a bit of a challenge.

Painted in Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom tablet. Took me about 10-12 hours.

There's definatley a good likeness there, his ear needs work as it looks a bit melted at the moment and the whole thing looks too airbrushed, try some harder shadows as well. Nice going.
